Al Raja School, Bahrain’s oldest private school is proud to announce the production of ‘Make a difference – Help change our world’. The play staged by grade 4-7 students of Al Raja School creates a platform to establish recycling behaviour amongst students and educate them regarding everyday conservation practices to better our environment.
‘Make a difference – Help change our world’ is a comedy musical adventure which takes place in Garbage Grove in which the trash residents are introduced to learning the basic 3R’s – reduce, reuse and recycle and moving on to discover innovative usage of paper, aluminium, glass, plastic and more.
Sir Mortimer Mouse is the central character of the show who is instrumental in helping trash residents to actively recycle. Some of the other characters in the play include Susie the Soda Pop bottle, Cedric the Cereal box, Polly the Plastic Milk jug and Creamo the Cream Soda can.
Recycling for Charity is happy to team up with Al Raja School in this initiative to educate youngsters from an early age on the importance of recycling with real-life situations that they can relate to.
